About Me.
Jason is a Maine native from Biddeford who has always enjoyed this great state and all it has to offer. His passion for graphic design and photography began back when he first saw the iconic “I Love New York” logo created in 1976 by the influential graphic designer Milton Glaser. Something so simple, but so widely used throughout the world today. He is also inspired by Ansel Adams’ breathtaking landscape photography which has always captured a moment in time. One of Jason’s favorite quotes from Ansel Adams is, “There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.”
If there’s anything that people would say about Jason, it would be that he pays close attention to the details, if something is out of place he will find it. His design work has a strong, clean and clear-cut style that helps to communicate a message or tell a story. Jason has a passion for helping others to solve problems creatively and informatively. Over the years, he has always squeezed in freelance work as a designer. One in particular, is for the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute. He designs a t-shirt each year for one of their annual signature retreats.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Maine College of Art and an Associate degree in Digital Media from York County Community College. Jason has also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Outside of work, Jason can typically be found enjoying the outdoors, taking in hikes, working out at the gym, finding his next new meal prep idea, photographing the world or planning his next dream trip. He also carves out time to watch the Red Sox.

Jason has shared his graphic design talents with the Mitchell Institute for over 10 years, creating a custom t-shirt design for one of our signature retreats annually. His work is always creative, weaving together strong imagery and fun fonts, and he does a fantastic job of keeping the designs fresh, polished, and exciting for the 60+ Mitchell Scholars who wear the shirts proudly. Jason is open to suggestions, timely,
