Mitchell Institute Leadership Experience MILE Weekend 2016.
Every year since I interned as a graphic designer for the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute, I have had the great pleasure of designing a t-shirt for one of their annual signature retreats. The Institute takes a group of about 60-70 Mitchell Scholars and Alumni to the New England Outdoor Center in Millinocket, Maine. The Scholars have the choice of going white water rafting, canoeing or even taking on the highest mountain in Maine, hiking to the summit of Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park. My t-shirt designs are always a reflection of the theme for the weekend retreat.
